What do I need to bring for admission when I visit?

Please bring your current membership card and a photo ID.

Can I lend my card to my friends?

No, membership cards are not transferable and are good only for members of your immediate family.

We have a live-in caregiver — can she bring the children?

Please add your caregiver’s name to your family membership card — forms are available at the front desk. One caregiver may be added for a $10 annual fee. Changing a caregiver is subject to an additional $10 fee.

Is my membership tax deductible?

The Museum is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization. Membership is tax deductible to the full extent permitted by the law.

Can I have a party at the Museum?

Yes, one of the benefits of membership is Birthday Parties and Museum Rentals.

Where else can I use my membership?

Membership at the Ann Arbor Hands-On Museum entitles you to FREE admission at over 300 ASTC science and technology centers.

Are museums located within 90 miles of Ann Arbor Hands-On Museum excluded from the ASTC reciprocal program?

No. Membership at the Ann Arbor Hands-On Museum entitles you to FREE admission at science and technology centers within 90 miles radius.

How soon will I get my membership card after online purchase?

Your new membership card will be mailed within 7–10 days of your purchase. Please print your membership purchase receipt — it is your temporary membership card.
