Outreach

It’s Science on Wheels! We roll up, roll in and set up — taking the mystery out of science and presenting fun, inquiry-based programs directly to the students in your classroom, library, festival or youth center! If you can’t bring your class or group to the Museum, let us bring the Museum to you!

Our programs provide exciting learning opportunities that engage all students. All programs address objectives outlined in the Michigan Grade Level Content Expectation and include pre- and post-visit activities. Register for an Outreach Program today!

Custom Outreach Programs

We can work together to deliver unique custom workshops that are full of fun and discovery. Past successes include:

  • Newtonian Catch—a fun combination of an amusement ride and a physics experiment
  • Bubble Science workshop—what’s more fun than huge, slimy bubbles?
  • Additional activities for a Super Science Day
  • Extra hours for a Family Science Night
  • Super-duper 2½-hour Crime Lab workshop—a great success!
  • An All-School Crime Lab workshop ”Who Stole the School Mas”

You never know what’s possible until you ask! Contact the Outreach Coordinator at outreach@aahom.org or 734.995.5439 to find out more.
