Distance Learning : Halloween Slime Time



We will explore our smoky cauldron and mysterious concoctions as we make two types of slime with students. Younger students use their slime to investigate three states of matter. Older students investigate the properties of polymers. Gooey concoctions are perfect for Halloween fun!

  • Manipulate simple tools that aid in observation and data collection. (S.IP.00.14; S.IP.01.14)
  • Matter exists in several different states: solids, liquids and gases. Each state of matter has unique physical properties. Gases are easily compressed but liquids and solids do not compress easily. Solids have their own particular shapes, but liquids and gases take the shape of the container. (P.PM.E.2)
