Press ReleasesMarch 1, 2010The Ann Arbor Hands-On Museum’s Sciencepalooza NanoDays Offers Big Fun with Tiny TechnologyWHO: The Ann Arbor Hands-On Museum WHAT: NanoDays hands-on activities and demonstrations offer the chance to learn all about nanotechnology — technology that’s a million times smaller than the head of a pin. Attendees will explore nano-sized structures and products that use nanotechnology, including liquid crystals and stain resistant fabric. NanoDays activities are brought to the Ann Arbor Hands-On Museum through the Nanoscale Informal Science Education Network, an organization supported by the National Science Foundation. WHEN: Saturday, March 13, 10am – 4pm and Sunday, March 14, Noon – 4pm. COST: NanoDays is free with regular Museum entrance. Admission to the Ann Arbor Hands-On Museum is free for members and children under 2 years old, and $9 for ages two and up.
