PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT FOR TEACHERS

Become more knowledgeable about science, increase your comfort with teaching science topics, acquire activities and resources to take back to your classroom, network with other teachers and museum educators and have fun!

Our Professional Development Workshops provide opportunities for elementary and middle school teachers to expand their skills in doing hands-on/minds-on science in the classroom. Workshops are led by Museum educators and are aligned with specific Michigan Curriculum Framework benchmarks.

Registration

• Professional Development Workshops are scheduled by request and must be scheduled at least 1 month in advance

Enrollment

Maximum number of participants is 25, minimum enrollment is 12.

Cost

• $625 for a 3-hour workshop
• $100 deposit is required to hold your reservation
