Registration Information
How to Register
Registrations will not be accepted without completed allergy and emergency information for each registered child. To register for this camp fill out the Summer Camp Registration Form (44K PDF) and fax (734.995.1188), mail (220 E. Ann St., Ann Arbor, MI 48104) or drop it off at the Museum during regular business hours.
How to Pay
Payments can be made in cash, check (payable to the Ann Arbor Hands-On Museum), or credit card (MC and VISA).
Refunds & Cancellations
If We Cancel a Program: If a minimum enrollment has not been achieved 2 weeks prior to the first day of a class, we must cancel the class. You will be notified by phone. If we are unable to accommodate a suitable transfer for that program, we will issue a full refund or credit.
If You Cancel a Program: All cancellations or changes must be made 21 days before the start of the class. A fee of $25 will be deducted from all refunds or changes made 20 days or more before the start of class. This fee covers the cost of processing your request. No refunds or changes will be given for classes canceled 20 days or less before the start of the class.
Museum’s Summer Camps at Rec & Ed
Ann Arbor Hands-On Museum is teaching summer camps with Ann Arbor Public Schools’ Community Recreation and Education Department this summer! Our education staff will be developing and delivering these camps for young scientists. Hurry and enroll in our camps, which are listed below.

June 22 – 26 Water Wonders Grades 1 – 3Explore the unique properties of water — surface tension, cohesion and adhesion — blow bubbles, have fun and get wet!
July 6 – 10 All About Cultures: Past and Present Grades 1 – 2; Grades 3 – 5Learn about ancient cultures and people in lands far away by exploring their art and stories.
July 13 – 17 Muscle Power Grades 1 – 2; Grades 3 – 5How do bones and muscles help you play sports? Conduct experiments on calcium in bones, look inside a real heart, think about how nutrition keeps our bodies fueled and play cool sports games.
July 20 – 24 Outer Space Grades 1 – 2; Grades 3 – 5Become an astronaut! Explore our solar system and life beyond our Earth.
July 27 – 31 Crime Lab Caper Grades 1 – 2; Grades 3 – 5Junior detectives learn about the activities that police and scientists use to solve crimes… and you may solve a crime, too!
