This winter, Hands-On Holidays returns to the Museum from December 21 - January 5th and it will be All About You! All of our activities and performances for Hands-On Holidays are included with admission. The Museum is closed from December 24th to 25th and is open January 1st from noon to 5pm.
Hands-On Holidays: All About You! - Dec 21, 2019 - Jan 5, 2020
Learn about biology and the human body in anticipation of our new exhibit All About You coming in Spring 2020 through a series of hands-on activities, workshops, demonstrations and special performers. There will be fun for the whole family! Activities will run from 10 am-4 pm Monday-Saturday and 12-4 pm on Sundays.

Mr. Dan's Music
Dec 21st, 23rd, 30th and Jan 2nd at 11am and 2pm
Join Mr. Dan for an interactive and educational musical presentation. Have fun learning about music from near and far with unique instruments and hands-on activities.
Music of the Middle East

Ara Topouzian is an Armenian-American musician whose proficiency at the Kanun (Middle Eastern harp) has made him a nationally-recognized artist. Topouzian’s traditional music style keeps to his Armenian heritage but has expanded to include music from around the Middle East with jazz, fusion, and new age influences.

Formed in August 2003 by reedman Paul VornHagen and conguero Alberto Nacif, this exciting Cuban jazz combo has been featured on all the major jazz public radio stations throughout the U.S. Come join us for an afternoon of music and movement to this live band!

Professor Ray’s Everyday Science
Jan 4th and 5th at 1pm & 3pm
Heads up! Watch out! We’ll be launching a tray of eggs with a broom (safely!), among other experiments, while we explore why and how objects move… or do not move! We will discover facts about gravity, inertia, air resistance and Newton’s laws of motion in many ways.
