The Ann Arbor Hands-On Museum is a community-supported 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Over the years, generous support from individual donors, foundations, government agencies, and corporate partners have enabled our organization to grow and serve our community in new and diverse ways. Through our scholarship programs, more children can attend our unique camp program, more classrooms can experience our hands-on science activities, and more teachers can integrate distance-learning opportunities into their curriculum. Since 2016, our organization’s presence has expanded across southeastern Michigan with in-depth partnerships in Ypsilanti, Detroit, and Port Huron. Finally, thanks to this incredible foundation and individual donor support, we have been able to institute programs which reduce financial barriers for Museum entrance for families.
Whether you make a gift today or choose to support the Museum through a legacy gift, your financial support enables us to reach an audience of over 350,000 per year and continue to be a leader in informal STEM learning experiences.
If you have any questions or require additional information, please contact our Development department using our Contact Us Form or by calling 734-995-5439 ext. 260.

Give the Gift of a Lifetime That Costs You Nothing Now
Leave a legacy of scientific discovery and wonder by including a charitable gift to the Ann Arbor Hands-On Museum in your estate plan. Although it costs you nothing now, you can help ensure that the Ann Arbor Hands-On Museum continues to be a leader in imaginative and interactive STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) learning experiences for generations to come.
Remembering the Museum in your will is one of the simplest ways to provide for the Museum’s future. Through a bequest, you can arrange for the Museum to receive a specific dollar amount or specified assets like securities, real estate, or tangible personal property. You can also make a residuary bequest which gives the Museum a percentage of the remainder of your estate after other obligations are met.
In addition to bequests, there are a variety of other charitable giving vehicles that you can use to make a planned gift. Depending on the vehicle, you can meet current and future financial goals, provide for your loved ones, receive tax savings, and establish income streams. Contact your financial advisor or attorney to learn more about how you can use charitable planning vehicles to support the Museum. To speak to our staff about planned giving, contact Sara Brintnall, Development Manager, at 734.995.5439 x260 or send an email with our Contact Us form.
