The Ann Arbor Hands-On Museum and Leslie Science & Nature Center are committed to creating more opportunities to learn and experience STEM and the natural world. Your support allows our organization to continue to adapt and to find new and unique ways to grow and serve others.
We know that many families are struggling right now in many different ways, whether it be working to stay healthy, finding new ways to educate our children, or having financial or employment uncertainty. If individuals would like to support us, and have the capacity to do so, here are some ways that you can help.
During the month of May we shared stories on Facebook and Instagram which celebrated our work, our supporters, and our community. As part of this month-long celebration we were gifted with a $20,000 match from local long-time supporters of our organization. Thanks to the incredible generosity of our community, we not only met this match – but EXCEEDED it, raising almost $100,000 in May. This support allows us our organization to continue to move forward and deliver virtual STEM at Home and Camp-at-Home opportunities for families across the country. To all those who supported us in May and to those who continue to support us moving forward, we say, “THANK YOU”!
