In an effort to protect the public, visitors, and staff and prevent the spreading of COVID-19 throughout our community, Ann Arbor Hands-On Museum and Leslie Science & Nature Center are following recommended guidelines from the Washtenaw County Health Department, Michigan Department of Health and Human Services, and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
As of now, all of our buildings are closed until further notice. All public programs are also cancelled. We are continuing to watch and evaluate the COVID-19 situation and its impact on our organization. We will keep you informed on further changes through email, social media channels, as well as on this webpage.
Leslie Science & Nature Center is located on a public park and all outdoor public areas (including the raptor enclosure loop) remain open. With the Stay Home, Stay Safe Executive Order, usage of city parks and natural areas is limited to only activities that do not involve direct contact with others, such as walking, hiking, running, and cycling, will be permitted. Please make sure to remain at least six feet from others who do not live with you in your household. More information can be found here: https://www.a2gov.org/Pages/COVID-19-Information.aspx
